 NOT ORGANIC!!! Jun 18, 2010
In search for a whole grain, organic, unsweetened, and unsalted cereals, I was happy to run across this puffed wheat. It tastes good but not organic. I read every single prints on the bag. There is no mention of its being organic, which is important to me since being organic = non-GMO. All Arrowhead Mills puffed products are advertised as "ORGANIC" but only the Kamut cereal has the organic seal. I'm switching to kamut cereal. I gave it 1 star to get other buyers' attention.

I absolutely love this cereal! To my total amazement, a generous bowl of this puffed wheat with almond milk (I am lactose intolerant) lasts me all morning. And my job requires commuting and standing on my feet for long periods of time.
That great phrase "junk cereals" applies to nearly every other dry cereal on the market, including some in health food stores. They're coated, artificially colored, preserved and generally tinkered with so that Lord only knows what you're really eating with the finished product.
This cereal is just what it says, no more and no less. It tastes great, requires no complicated preparation for those on a wildly busy schedule, digests easily, and gives hours of energy. I am so grateful that amazon carries it because it can be hard to find. Our family will make it a staple!

We have been looking all over for puffed wheat, the regular kind, and was so pleased to see that Amozon had it.
It was what we were looking for. Believe me, it's very good cereal.
All of the stores had the honey coated puffed wheat and when we asked for the regular kind
they said that they couldn't get it anymore.
I happened to start looking on the internet and found Amazon.com and the rest is history.
When our supply is close to running out, I will reorder more.

Old-fashioned Puffed Wheat Oct 15, 2009
Arrowhead Mills Puffed Wheat is the old-fashioned puffed wheat I remember from my childhood. The ones I found on the shelf at the grocery were sugar coated--not what I wanted. This is exactly what I was looking for.

I like to eat puffed-wheat cereal as a low-calorie and nutritious but filling meal. I was buying Red Wheat at Walmart, but they reduced that product's shelf space, and the last time I went to buy it they only had four packages. So I was pleasantly surprised to find the Arrowhead brand available through Amazon at an excellent price. Amazon delivered it very promptly as well.
