Wonderful cereal, horrible price Dec 20, 2009 Cheerios is a great cereal. But why would anyone pay this price unless they absolutely had to have groceries delivered directly to their house? At a well-known national retailer that starts with "W", the non-sale price for 4 boxes of this size totals less than half of the price + shipping cost listed here.
good--but not quite as good for you as General Mills would have you believe May 31, 2009 Cheerios Cereal by General Mills has quite a few positives. It's got very little fat, no transfats, no cholesterol, very little sugar and it's relatively low in calories. It contains 25% of the recommended daily intake of Thiamin, Niacin, Vitamin B6 and more, too. The cereal stays quite tasty until the expiration date on the top of the box; so if you ever catch a sale on this and you like it, stock up while you can!
One thing that did disturb me was the Cheerios claim that this reduces your bad cholesterol level by 4% if it is part of "a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol." Naturally, that's not bad; but it's really not that good, either. Most doctors would say that 4% is simply not enough; and even the government chimed in only four or five weeks ago that General Mills claims that Cheerios is healthier for you than it really is.
As always, read the nutrition facts label before eating this product. If you have questions about this product, ask your doctor. General Mills offers customers a toll-free number, a mailing address and a website.
Overall, Cheerios cereal definitely has some nutritional value; but please don't mistake it for being the best thing ever to hit the supermarket shelf. It's not quite as healthy as General Mills would have you believe, although it is one of the better cereals out there with its low fat and sugar levels.
Cheerios = Best breakfast cereal ever Feb 13, 2009 I love me some Cheerios. They're healthy, tasty, and are a staple of my breakfasts. I've been eating them since before I can remember, and they are still high on my list of favorite breakfasts. They're not too sweet, not too heavy or flavorless like some healthy foods, and they keep you regular.
As an aside, you can make an awesome desert with these by following the recipe for rice crispy treats but substituting cheerios for the rice crisps.

Heart Healthy Breakfast Aug 21, 2008 Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R3BTJSZR4L8KFK As much as I enjoy on occasional bacon and eggs, sausages or hash browns for breakfast, when I eat Cheerios I know I'm eating a breakfast food that's good for me.
With some sliced strawberries, banana or blue berries this becomes a very delicious breakfast, it has more vitamins than a fried breakfast and to me it has a better flavor.
Fatty foods can tire me out and drag down my energy, so a light breakfast is all I need.
Classic cereal, big box Jul 22, 2008 Cheerios hardly needs any introduction. Suffice it to say that this is the regular, classic Cheerios with no sugar coating nor fruit additions. The 18-oz box is an excellent value, but be sure you are prepared for the fact that it may be a bit large for the shelf on which you usually keep your cereals.
