 Ten years of use and still nothing compares... Jun 13, 2010
I hand wash all my dishes and this soap keeps my sensitive hands from chapping, cracking and bleeding...even in the winter. I prefer the lemon scent, rather than the chamomile, with it's softly pleasant fragrance...it doesn't burn my nose or give me a headache like all the major brands do, and after all, what's smell really got to do with cleaning dishes anyway? The convenience of using auto-ship, plus the savings of about a doller per bottle over store prices makes this a wise choice for me.

While the price is great (especially since many "green" products are priced higher), this is not worth it. Not sure why I seem to be one of the only reviewers not to like it, but it seriously does not clean! And I'm not even talking about tough grease. This product doesn't clean period. It suds up and looks and smells great. I believe its great for the environment as well; that's why I bought it. However, I will never buy it again. I do not want to have to use so much soap and still have to re-wash my dishes.

Have to use 1/4 of a bottle for one sink full of dishes. Will go back to 7th gen. I love Ecover products, just not this one.

I love the smell of this product, and the packaging is nice enough to leave out on your sink. I found it very runny, and not as sudsy, as typical store brands but it still worked as well. I like the fact that it doesn't harm the environment, either. I will keep on using it and do recommend it. It's different but that's okay!

For a green product, this works pretty well. Plenty of suds. It is far greater than the green version that Trader Joe's sells. It doesn't, however, compare to something like Dawn, which has the full weight of the chemical industry behind it.
