Easy and Tasty Jul 20, 2010 Easy to make without a bread maker and very tasty. It's good with everything, but we especially like it for breakfast toasted with butter and honey. Very good value.
Very good, especially when I only use the dough cycle. May 27, 2010 I like this mix. I usually make my own from scratch but during the summer I don't like all the mess and time this involves so I tried this mix and it's definitely worth the costs. I only use it on the dough setting and then bake it in two smaller loaves. The bread crust is much finer and softer, which we like. Also, we are always watching our weight and smaller bread means smaller sandwiches, toast, etc. which means fewer calories. These mixes are convenient and suit our summer schedule.
My favorite bread May 09, 2010 Absolutely my favorite bread! Bake it weekly. Cannot find this product in my local grocery stores. Since I starting using this mix, have not purchased a single loaf of store bought bread. Nothing better than freshly baked bread and this mix is so simple to use and a money saver in the hot summers of Texas with no oven heat running up the AC bill while baking this in the bread machine.
Could not be eassier to make some very good bread Apr 19, 2010 The baking aroma was wonderful and preparing in my bread machine could not have been easire. This very good tasting bread was much less expensive than a comparable bread from Whole Foods Market. I recognized the Hodgson Mills brand as one carried by Whole Foods so that created a higher trust factor. There are cruchy grain particles in the mix that are delightful. My only thourht is that the texture could be a bit more firm but still very pleasant. I will be ordering more in the future.
As always, the ordering and delivery through Amazon.com was seamless.
Delicious Apr 10, 2010 I had been buying the Hodgson Mill Whole Wheat mixes for awhile and one day just decided to try their 9 Grain. It was a good choice. I have cancelled my Subscribe and Save to the Whole Wheat and switched to this. The taste is "heartier" with a sort of chewy texture. It also smells SO good -- yeasty and nutty.
