 Great Item but Better Price Jun 19, 2009
Even though I agree that this product works unlike other Env. Friendly detergents, the price really isn't that great. It's cheaper at Whole Foods around $12 and I sometimes find it at my local TJ Maxx for $8.99 and pick up a few at a time.

I hope you have the chance to grab this deal...I paid 49 dollars for 6 bottles of Geranium Detergent. It arrived safe & sound and it's fabulous.
It's even less expensive than the non organic soaps. Can't wait for the fabric softener to arrive!
I really like the scent and the fact that I'm doing a little something to help the planet while getting a good price for us. Gotta save money whereever you can these days!
For the person who commented that the detergent wouldn't get the smell out of their running clothes..you're on the right track. You either need to add baking soda or use warm water. It's not the fault of the detergent. When my hubby's clothes are particularly smelly, the baking soda does the trick if I need to use cold water.
The company says right on the label to use hot water with whites & warm with perm. press & lights.
Setting the water heater down to warm & only doing full loads should be okay if you're only doing one load a week. I assume you don't bathe in only cold water, sometimes your clothes need a warm bath, too :)

This is the 5th lavender scented, eco-friendly liquid detergent we have tried. We prefer lavender for a scent. This one falls somewhere in the middle of the pack. Cleans fine. A little pricey for the quantity. Lasts a decent amount of time per bottle. About average which is just fine.

I had been searching for a non-toxic laundry soap for almost a year and hadn't found anything I really liked until Mrs. Meyers Clean Day Laundry Liquid Detergent. My husband has recently developed chemical sensitivities and can't tolerate most chemical containing products so we have had to eliminate all chemical based products from our home. I bought a case of the geranium scent and it has a wonderfully pleasing scent that is not overpowering. I have a front-load washer and prefer liquid soaps, plus this was recommended for high-efficiency washers. I use white vinegar in place of fabric softener for nice, chemical-free laundry. I will definitely purchase this again! I'm now using Mrs. Meyer's Clean Day liquid dishwashing soap and have been quite pleased with the results too!

Mrs. Meyer's detergent wonderfully cleans clothes and leaves them with a soft pleasant scent and is environmentally responsible too! Highly recommend & a little goes a long way.
