Great detergent, great price, free shipping, gentle on clothes. Oct 14, 2007 Buying environmentally-friendly detergent from Amazon by the case is so easy. It's better than having to explain what you want to a servant and then have him bring the wrong thing, or else going to the store yourself and lugging bottle after bottle home, constantly running out, etc. It's fairly priced, gentle on your clothes, and the UPS man just drops it off right at your door. So simple. So right. It's the little things in life that make me happy.

excellent for its intended purpose Aug 25, 2007 This product is excellent for washing delicates and other things for which you would use a woolite type laundry product. Another review trashes it because it did not fully clean sweaty dirty work clothes worn by a man. Excuse me, it is _not_ intended as a heavy duty cleaner and I think it is unfair to give it a poor score on those grounds. I use it on lightly soiled loads and for handwashing delicates and woolens. It does those jobs excellently and without irritating my skin or my nose. I'll continue to buy it. For heavier dirt I use Planet's regular liquid laundry detergent, which I highly recommend also.

Dissatisfied Feb 25, 2007 I'm sure this detergent is gentle on the environment because is was too gentle on the bacteria in my husbands sweaty work clothes. He was not a happy person when he put on his "clean" shirt and the underarms still had an odor. I have decided to just use this detergent when we wash our vehicles. Considering the amount I purchased I'll be prepared for car washes for the next millenium. By the way the product smells exactly like Woolite. Could it be the same thing?
