Very unique gift. Aug 11, 2010 I bought this teapot for a friend and she just loves it. It is like a center piece and says everyone comments on it.
Good, tea, like the pot, cover gets a little warm Aug 07, 2010 Tea is excellent, the pot holds a decent amount of tea and displays the flowers well. Only minor issue is that sometimes the cover gets extremely warm, and it doesn't stay in very well, you need to put a finger on it when pouring the tea. Otherwise, works perfectly.
Good deal for the price Jul 01, 2010 I'm happy with the deal I got with this product. It's a great way to watch teas bloom. I really like that I can put the teapot on the stove to keep it warm. The one thing I don't like is that it is a bit difficult to pour. You have to turn the entire teapot upside down to get the last bit of tea out, and must hold the lid on so it doesn't fall off. Next time I might spend a little more to get a teapot with a spout from the bottom. Other than that, this product is nice, and the tea is good.
IM SO HAPPY WITH THIS PRODUCT! Jun 25, 2010 i wrote in another review the same thing. but the tea is amazing, it's beautiful and DELICIOUS!!! o boy was it delicious i refilled it about 4 times in my 5 cup holder and you can only keep it for 24 hours - it probably was mild not as strong because i kept refilling it so much but wow! if you can find this product for cheaper price please do! but i am very satisfied ! and the tea pot is so cute!!! ... yes it is true that it takes a while for the water to filter through the dry tea when putting it into that cup ... and the tiny holes will get dirty but theres nothing an ear stick wont get out.. i hope you understand this review!! goodluck!! :]
A Beautiful Ocean May 04, 2010 I love the tea pot, it's very cute. My 3 year old called it a beautiful ocean. It's exactly what I was expecting based on product description, reviews, and pictures. I'm new to loose leaf tea brewing and was looking for a teapot for that purpose. I came across flowering tea and thought it looked amazing and so I spent a lot of time looking for a teapot that would serve both purposes. I am very happy that this one can be used on the stove (I wasn't sure about stovetop until it arrived--and it says right on the box that you can) and in the dishwasher. I prefer the look of a traditional teapot with a long spout, but as far as cleaning and usefulness I think this one is much nicer. It is sturdy, but still more delicate than I pictured based on reviews I read; however, it seems like a great value for the price, especially with the flowers included. I've only had it for one day, so it's still a bit awkward and I'm trying to develop a routine. Takes more effort and planning than just using a prefilled tea bag. The flowers are pretty and have a nice flavor, but I'm the only tea drinker, so it's kind of a lot for just me to drink. You can refridgerate them after each use and steep up to 3 times; but I actually left it on the table as a centerpiece and refilled the water after I drank some. Then, when I wanted to steep a second time I just put the whole thing on the stove and heated to 180F--I don't know if this is a good procedure, but it tasted just fine to me. Delivery was fast, and packaging was great. I'm very pleased, and am enjoying a new experience in tea brewing.
