one of the best cookies you can eat for breakfast! Mar 11, 2010 I was very happy that Quaker had come out with such a tasty product that was not all sugar! I can take these with me on trips and for a quick snack. I really like the crunchy chocolate chips!
I hope that Quaker continues to produce these---and maybe come out with a few new flavors for these cookies.
I suggest these for people who want to have oatmeal but dont have the time to make a bowl of cereal and for those who dont like sugar as the first ingredient in their breakfast food.
An alternative to breakfast cereal Feb 09, 2010 I originally found these in a supermarket when I was looking for an alternative to breakfast cereal. The market quit carrying them, so I order them from Amazon. They are a favorite with the young children of a friend.
I am surprised that anyone would be shocked by fat content. They contain chocolate. I would also note that people require a balance in their diets that includes some amount of fat and sodium. When I got carried away with a low sodium diet, I started having muscle cramps - my physical therapist said it sounded like a sodium deficiency - adding some salt back into my diet got rid of the cramps.
I have found that these are good for a quick snack, or for a breakfast addition in liew of cereal or toast. I sometimes eat one along with a serving of yogurt and some juice.
Great tasting, though not "good for you" Sep 20, 2009 I have a sweet tooth the size of an island, so I have to go for "not as bad" rather than healthy and this fits the bill perfectly! Great tasting and this price is cheaper than I can find in my local grocery store.
These Are Great Sep 16, 2009 I got these for my son because he just loves them. Great for a quick on the go breakfast.

These are great and good for ya! Sep 07, 2009 I realize some will take issue with "the fat" in these amazingly tasty -- and stocked with vitamins -- treats, but let those naysayers just shut their yaps. These cookies are not only nutritious, the fat is NOT bad fat. I would bet that the reviewer who would write to complain of the "fat calories" in these cookies, doesn't get how important good fats are to the diet. Fats are vastly under-rated in our slenderness-obsessed but totally obese American society. Hey, think there MIGHT BE a link there??
For those who just want something tasty that works well pre-workout and post (esp. when spread with my favorite: peanut butter, almond butter, Nutella, etc., then get these! Life's short -- LIVE and work OUT!
