Best stuff ever! Jul 06, 2010 As I've said of all Tinkyada products we use, it's fabulous. In fact, it's hard to over-state how good this is. I've tried whole wheat pasta in the past and found it bitter. Once we tried this, even my husband stopped asking for white flour pasta.
Didn't care for the clumpiness or flavor Jun 04, 2010 These noodles are thicker than normal which is why the longer cooking time and claim to won't fall apart. I found they clumped together while cooking and I didn't care for the flavor. I much prefer Mrs. Leeper's Pasta Organic, Rice Vegetable Twists, 12 Ounce Bags (Pack of 12)
A gluten-free must! Nov 27, 2009 This pasta is amazing! I have served it to non-GF extended family and they could not tell the difference between this and semolina pasta. Just be sure to check the pasta frequently as it cooks - rice pasta behaves differently than regular pasta and can go from perfect to mushy in no time flat. All rice pastas are NOT created equally and Tinkyada is the best!
pretty good noodles Jun 09, 2009 These cook up a little fast and so you have to be careful not to over cook them. Other than that, they taste great and are very good for you. Win-win!

You can microwave this, too. Dec 19, 2008 If you don't have a stove, you can microwave this, too.
Microwave Tinkyada Baked Penne
(Ahem.)
Ingredients:
Bag of Tinkyada Penne
Jar of spaghetti sauce (The large kind. Muir Glen is gluten-free)
1 cup water
ceramic dish
saran wrap or a plate about the size of the ceramic dish
1200 watt microwave
Optional:
Parmesan, vegan parmesan, or merlot
Pour half the bag of penne into the ceramic dish. Cover the pasta with the entire jar of pasta sauce. Add one cup water. Mix well. Cover the ceramic dish with saran wrap or a plate, leaving a small corner uncovered to vent. Set the microwave to run for 45 minutes on 50% power.
Walk away. Contemplate world peace, or have a nice glass of merlot. After 45 minutes, take the ceramic dish out of the microwave. Sprinkle with parmesan or vegan parmesan.
("Yes, it's really cooked." Tinkyada is amazing.)
