Shrinkage and oily residue Dec 28, 2009 I used this product with a vintage, off-white, wool cardigan I wear quite a bit.
The sweater wasn't noticeably dirty or smelly, but I wear it so often I figured it could use a cleaning. It game out with a definite "newness. The wool has a renewed fluffiness, it's noticeably cleaner and smelling fresh.
However, it was also noticeably smaller. It's still wearable, but being tall, the cuffs are riding uncomfortably high on my wrists now.
Handling it also leaves an oily residue on my hands. I haven't read reports of this anywhere else, so I thought I'd let people know. It's not subtle either. Just brushing against it with my hand leaves some kind of oil.
Oily chemicals. Yuck...

Much better than the other brands Nov 13, 2009 I just received my first box yesterday and gave them a try. They are far superior to the other brands out there. All of the other brands have a destinctive smell to them that is somewhat unpleasant. The Woolite has a very slight, fresh smell -- so much more pleasant! I signed up for the auto delivery in order to save a few more dollars and I am very glad I did. This will be a "must have" in my household from now on!
A wonderful money saving clothes cleaning product Nov 09, 2009 I have been using Dry Cleaaner's Secret for a number of years and it cleans and deodorizes clothing really well. I clean all clothing which cannot be tumble dried after washing (e.g.: line dry or dry flat, etc) unless instructions say do not dry clean, as well as dry clean only items. Instructions say one sheet will clean up to 4 items but I have done up to six or seven at times if the items are not too bulky. I have also dry cleaned pillows and a sleeping bag as well as a comforter. Of course you need an oversized dryer to do the extra large items (sleeping bag/comforter). All it takes is 20 minutes in your dryer on the permanent press cycle. Remove clothes promptly when done so they do not wrinkle from laying in the dryer.
GREAT SERVICE Nov 09, 2009 GREAT SERVICE. THIS PRODUCT IS UNBELIEVABLE. IT CLEANS EFFICIENTLY, AND IS BETTER WITH 2 CLEANING CLOTHS FOR LARGER-SIZED GARMENTS.

A must-have in the arsenal of at-home dry cleaning Oct 30, 2009 Dry Cleaner's Secret is just one of the important components of at-home dry cleaning. I've read some other reviews that talk about stains. The trick to stains is to a) treat immediately (such as using a Tide-to-go pen) and b) use concentrated cleaner such as the bottle that comes with the Dryel starter pack.
I've obtained the best results by using Dry Cleaner's Secret sheets in conjunction with the aforementioned products. While Dry Cleaner's Secret is one of the best dry cleaning sheets out there by far (Bounce, for instance, really doesn't work well at all), different pieces of clothing may need additional treatments depending on the situation.
